Microfluidizer® Processor Never Runs At
Anything Less Than Peak Performance!

Order a Preventive Maintenance Package Now Before Prices Increase
and Get Peace of Mind for Less Money!

Our popular Preventive Maintenance (PM) prices are increasing in 2013, but if you order a PM (or multiple PMs) before December 31st, we will protect 2012 pricing.

Why Spend Money on a PM?

A PM can actually save you money and we back up all our work with a no hassle 6 month warranty!

With Preventive Maintenance, one of our expert field service engineers arrives at your facility to identify and resolve potential performance issues before they arise, ensuring the processor always operates at its peak capacity. And to put it bluntly, they work! The need for repair during the 6 month Extended Warranty period is virtually non-existent.

How Will This Benefit You?
  • Receive peace of mind that the processor is operating at peak performance
  • Create deep internal knowledge on how to troubleshoot, repair and maintain processors
  • Catch and prevent issues before they happen, avoiding costly unplanned downtime
What Do You Get With A PM?

The following services are performed during an annual Preventive Maintenance check-up visit:

  • Disassemble the processor down to its "nuts and bolts"
  • Evaluate every internal component (seals, gaskets, bearings, etc.)
  • Clean and re-lubricate appropriate parts
  • Diagnose worn items and replace covered parts as necessary
  • Train your internal staff on diagnosis, maintenance and repair techniques
  • Reassemble and test run the processor
  • Provide a thorough written report on findings and analysis
  • 6 month Extended Warranty from the time of the PM service
Ordering Your PM is Easy!

Simply contact our Field Service Staff or your local Rep, Distributor or Regional Sales Manager. This promotion is good for The Americas, and Europe and will last for as many PMs as you order now - as long as the first PM takes place in 2012. For example, ordering 3 PMs now will extend your warranty for 18 months at 2012 prices!

MICROFLUIDICS SHOWCASES THE LATEST IN HIGH PRESSURE FLUID PROCESSING AT ACHEMA 2012

The Fitzpatrick Company, Quadro Engineering and Microfluidics are combining the strength of three leading process equipment brands at ACHEMA 2012 (June 18 - 22) in FRANKFURT, Germany in Hall 5.0, Stand Nos. C8, C12 and D7, respectively.  They will be exhibiting cutting-edge process equipment and global support service solutions for solid, semi-solid and liquid processing.

Microfluidics features a variety of high pressure fluid processors that place shear stress on fluids to permit controlled, efficient cell disruption and produce highly effective, reproducible liposome preparations, emulsions and ultra-fine suspensions(from 1mL – 50L per minute).

The Company will be exhibiting the following equipment at ACHEMA:

M-110EH - designed for particle size reduction (submicron and Nano-scale), deagglomeration, cell disruption, immiscible liquid emulsions, solid-in-liquid suspensions, and liposomes.  This is a mobile, high shear fluid processor that can achieve continuous operating pressures to 30,000 psi (2069 bar).

M-110P – designed to achieve continuous operating pressures up to 30,000 psi (2069 bar), and deliver production of stable Nanodispersions and Nanoemulsions, cell (i.e. coli, yeast, etc.), micro/Nanoencapsulation in polymers/liposomes/oils and deagglomeration.  The Processor maximizes the energy-per-unit fluid volume, resulting in uniform submicron particles.  This is a bench-top processor that works anywhere, without compressed air or hydraulic cooling water, and runs on a standard 120V, 20 Amp, single-phase power outlet.

M700 - Microfluidizer Processor for continuous high shear fluid processing in industrial environments - generates up to 30,000 psi operating pressure (40,000 psi available as a special option), for premium results.  It provides repeatable, uniform particle size results to submicron distributions, offers guaranteed scale-up from R&D to full production, operates in continuous or batch mode, and can process at a wide range of pressures and flows.

Pickering Emulsions, highly robust systems that provide high- stability against drop coalescence and offer insensitivity to electrolytes, temperature changes and dilution, can be developed in surfactant-free formulations.  These characteristics are potentially advantageous for cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical applications, as well as new materials formulations.

Microfluidics is hosting a webinar presentation featuring Isabel Mira, PhD, YKI Institute for Surface Chemistry, Stockholm, Sweden, on her work with Pickering Emulsions on Thursday, October 13 at  9:00 AM Eastern Time/15:00 Stockholm Time.

She will discuss:
-    The value of studying Pickering emulsions/particle stabilized emulsions
-    The main differences between particle stabilized and surfactant stabilized emulsions
-    How to prepare particle stabilized O/W nano emulsions using commercially available particles and technologies
-    Some of the unique features of the produced O/W nanoemulsions
